This lively Scottish event promises to be interactive, and includes music, dancing, poetry readings, storytelling, and aha- whisky sipping! I just love the variety of activities offered here. What more could one want? Featured musicians include renown singer and piper Dan Houghton, Scottish national fiddle champion Calum Pasqua, and accomplished pianist Susie Petrov. Tickets are $19.00 for adults and $16.00 for students. An extra $5.00 will entitle you to three tastes of whisky. For further details about this gala evening celebration, happening on Jan. 31st at Springstep in Medford, click here.

They’re also offering a Scottish Highland Dance Workshop the following afternoon (Sun., Feb. 1st). What better way to enhance your Scottish music listening pleasure than by learning some authentic dance steps to go along with it. Tickets are $18.00 for members and $22.00 for non-members.
