middle eastCome to the Middle East’s Downstairs venue in Central Square, Cambridge  for a Thursday evening of great reggae. Jamaican superstar Eek A Mouse will entertain you singjay style. This popular artist is one of the forerunner’s of the genre which is characterized by a monotonic style of singing or speaking to the accompaniment of a rhythmic background. Then get ready for a change of pace with some funk/reggae fusion from local talent Destroy Babylon. The band incorporates elements of dub and rocksteady into their unique sound.
