Cafe b1I don’t know about you, but high quality food photography always makes my mouth water! So, click here and read on. This tempting tantalizing fare can be enjoyed at the Cafe Brazil in Allston. But wait, it gets better still. Every weekend you can indulge not only in great cuisine but live Brazilian music as well! (if I were you, I would double check though and call in advance, just to make sure the music is on for the evening of your outing)

Cafe Brazil is proud to serve home-style Brazilian dishes which are seasoned to flavorful perfection and they have been doing it for over 23 years. Such experience earned them a Best of Boson Award from Boston Magazine inCafe b2 2005. To give you an idea, appetizers include a fried yucca and sweet banana plate and empanadas (a Brazilian staple). For the main course, just to name a few of the selections, there’s Minas Especial (lemon-garlic marinated and grilled boneless chicken tenderloin with sweet banana garnish), Bife A Cavalo (thin slices of marinated grilled beef with fried egg, sauteed onions and feijao tropeiro (beans mixed with yucca flour, bacon, eggs, and onions), and a family-style combo of tender pieces of chicken, pork, linguica (Portuguese) sausage, and beef accompanied by a  fried banana garnish and feijao tropeiro. Desert might include Pudim (rich baked custard pudding with caramel sauce) or Torta de Abacaxi (pineapple pie). Here’s the rest of their extensive menu! So, next time you’re in the mood for some Latin food and music, why not give Cafe Brazil a try.

If you’d like some more convincing before you decide to take me up on my suggestion, then check out these reviews.
