Looking for some good ole reggae music to cap off your weekend? Well then, head on over to The Half  Door pub-style restaurant in Quincy and groove to the sound of one of  New England’s top reggae bands. Going strong since 2007, the High Hopes Band specializes in the roots/orthodox style of the genre, reminiscent of the 70s era. While the band stays true to their motto  “Putting Roots Back Into Reggae”, they also bring a modernized flair to their music to create a style all their own which has  indeed become very popular with today’s crowd.

You can catch their act at their regular weekend show “High Hopes Reggae & Dub lounge” which features additonal musicians as well. And best of all, there is no cover charge for all of this great entertainment. Get a load of that! Come a little early, as the kitchen closes at 9:00, and enjoy dinner or appetizers from The Half Door’s extensive menu. You can check it out on their web site at  Great music + good food = a satisfying end to any weekend.
