Dance Around the World at Tamboo Bistro and Nightclub – Weekly Saturday Evenings (10:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.)
In my opinion, the best feature of a Saturday evening of dancing at Tamboo is its international appeal. This weekly dance party, hosted by djs Adilson and Nando, will get you moving in the form of such African/Latin/Caribbean influenced dance styles as zouk, funana, kompa, and kudoro. But the entertainment doesn’t stop here, as they will also be “spinning” world music from various other parts of the globe as well to add further interest and variety to your evening. I want to emphasize here that the atmosphere at Tamboo, in Brockton, is that of an “upscale” after hours celebration, so be sure and dress appropriately.
Come early for dinner and you will be treated to fine Haitian or Continental Nouveau cuisine. For starters there’s Haitian fried meatballs with Creole sauce, followed by Caribbean spiced salmon with yellow peppers, sautéed in white wine and orange juice, to be finished off with “Paradisio”, a mango/passionfruit and coconut mousse, over a vanilla genoise, topped with chocolate strips and cape gooseberry. Make sure you check out the rest of the menu here. Sounds like a great night of international entertainment and food alike!
