Bollywood Showtime brings international Pakistani singing star Ghulam Ali to the concert stage, live and in person right here in Massachusetts, for your mid-summertime entertainment. Come hear many of your favorite Hindi film hits as they are artfully performed by this master of the ghazal including, Dil Mein Ek Lehar, Karoon Na Yaad, Chupke Chupke Raat Din, Hungama Hai Kyoon, Chaudhavin Ki Raat, and many many more.

Ghulam Ali is a highly renowned, widely popular singer as well as composer of the ghazal or poetic love song. He began his distinguished musical training in the Patiala gharana, a highly regarded school of Hindustani classical music. It is this classical training which has enabled the star to become so popular with his audiences. It serves as the basis for his unique and universally appealing raga-oriented compositional style which is embodies into his original songs, as well as the driving force behind his emotionally endearing singing style. He has also produced many hits as a Punjabi singer as well. Among his top albums, is a collection entitled Miraz-E-Ghazal, which he produced with the legendary vocalist Asha Bhosale. Ali continues to steal the hearts of audiences all across India and Pakistan and he’ll likely steal yours as well, if you’re fortunate enough to catch this special performance.
